The Sixty Group, casual and jeanswear specialist founded in 1989 by Wichy Hassan and Renato Rossi, is starting a restructuring phase led by new CEO, Pietro Bongiovanni, aimed at reorganizing the group's senior management structure. After 16 years as counsellor within the Sixty Group's board of directors, Bongiovanni will focus on the group's historical success factors such as product excellence, customer service, innovation and quality, and he will manage relationships with financial partners.

Former CEO Renato Rossi, co-founder and co-owner of the group with 33%, will continue carrying out his management functions and working within the group while focusing on strategic product development tasks.

Furthermore, new entries to the company will be Guido Pullini and Marco Bortoletti. Pullini who worked a long time for Italian footwear specialist Geox, will hold the position of Sales & Marketing Director for Miss Sixty, Killah, Energie, Refrigiwear and Murphy & Nye, while also coordinating foreign branch offices and retail activities. Bortoletti, former co-owner and CEO of Replay, as High-profile Manager will be in charge of enhancing performance in sales connected to creativity, and R&D within the fashion-oriented brands Miss Sixty, Energie and Killah.

Sixty expects to maintain its 2009 results also in 2010 but with an increased EBITDA compared to the €43.9 million registered in 2009. For 2011, they expect to expand their retail network, (now including 77 stores), in emerging markets such as China. According to local press sources, the group had ended 2009 with a turnover of over €427 million, compared to over €550 million in 2008.
