British designer Neil Barrett has partnered with the French footwear label Palladium for F/W 10-11. The designer, famous for his minimalism, has reinterpreted Palladium’s classic canvas military-boot, otherwise known as the “Baggy.” The boots are available in waxed leather, waxed patent leather and nubuck leather, and come in black, cream and black-and-white-contrasts. The boots from this collaboration were presented at the Milan Fashion Week in January for the first time. Palladium was founded in 1920 and originally became known for its long-lasting tires for the aviation industry. In 1947 the brand started producing shoes and over the years gained a cult following for its canvas Pampa boot.
