Swiss shoe and accessory brand Navyboot wants to grow internationally. On Thursday it held a store opening party in Frankfurt, Germany, kicking off several planned store openings across Germany within the next year. By mid-November further openings will have followed for Düsseldorf and Berlin and in 2010 the brand will have stores in Munich, Hamburg, Stuttgart and Cologne.

Founded in 1991 Swiss premium brand Navyboot sells high-fashion shoes and accessories and operates over 50 stores in the domestic market. After investment company Gaydoul Group took over the family-run business in 2008, the basis was set for international expansion. “Our strategy envisions becoming one of the leading international premium brands for shoes, leather goods and accessories,” said CEO Dr. Hendrik Gottschlich. The next market Navyboot wants to gain ground in is Italy. For its international expansion Navyboot is collaborating with star photographer Michel Comte, who created the latest Navyboot campaign for F/W 2009.
