Fans of the inventive sustainable active-inspired fashion brand Nau can now experience the Oregonian brand in person at its newest pop-up store located at 69 Mercer Street in downtown New York City. “All the fixtures put into Here/Nau/NYC come out of the local waste-stream to ensure that the store has the lowest carbon footprint possible,” said Gordon Seabury, President and CEO of Nau. “We’re excited to show that retail space can be beautifully designed while remaining sustainable and that clothes can be fashionable, while still functional, technical and performance-driven.” Two percent of in-store sales go to charities chosen by consumers, who can also pick up items from partner-brands with the store, including Stewart + Brown, Loomstate and Timberland. Look for additional events through Dec. 31 hosted by Nau in collaboration with other sustainable community-minded organizations and bands even, such as Har Mar Superstar, Cotton Jones and the Honey Brothers.
