For s/s 2012, Fiorucci is launching a special capsule denim collection designed by Naomi Campbell and produced by Ittierre. The new collection will be produced for at least the next two seasons, even if the partners involved hope it will last much longer. The ‘Naomi Campbell for Fiorucci’ collection offers 15 pieces, including four different, body-hugging jeans fits in a variety of washes, plus some t-shirts carrying historic i-D Magazine covers showing the top model portrayed by famous photographers throughout the years.

The collection will be sold through young premium stores in Europe, Middle East and Russia and delivered between December and March. Retail prices will range from €59 for a t-shirt to €139 for a pair of jeans.

“It is a great opportunity for us revitalizing the history of our brand,” commented Edouard Obringer, General Manager of Fiorucci.

The top model added: “Fiorucci is an iconic brand I always admired since my childhood. It is a brand that strongly identifies itself with the acknowledged love for style of Italian people, but also that special sensuality and fun that makes every woman feel at ease."

Moreover, Fiorucci has signed an agreement with Ittierre for producing and distributing its apparel and jeanswear collection starting for s/s 2012. In addition to the Fiorucci collection, Ittierrre newly acquired by Albisetti Group (see our report), will produce and distribute the Pierre Balmain diffusion line, John Galliano's second line Galliano, Ermanno (Ermanno Scervino's younger collection), C'N'C  by Costume National, GF Ferré and their own jeans brand Acht.

Ittierre's new 3,600sqm headquarters in Viale Piceno 17 in Milan have started operating a few days ago with the start of the company's s/s 2012 selling season.
