Denim brand Mother will launch a collection designed by Model Freja Beha Erichsen. The collection, which is Erichsens’s first, will be available from September at high end retailers in The US, Japan and UK.

The capsule collection features the following styles: The Muse, skinny/straight and available in five washes and faux leather; The Crystal Cove, printed jeans inspired by agate and geode crystals; The Welt Zip Muse, a moto-pant; The High Waist Cutoffs & the Foxy Boxy, a chambray shirt. Erichsen worked hand in hand with designer, Tim Kaeding, on all of the details including the washes, prints, hardware, fit and tags.

“It's been a pleasure to work with Tim and Lela, the founders of Mother, in this collaboration to raise some much-needed funds for Doctors Without Borders. We've created some beautiful jeans that feel snug and comfortable, yet durable and empowering,” says Erichsen.

“Freja really embodies what we feel Mother is all about. Her presence is what drew us to her but it was her charitable nature that made this collaboration so special. It's been an honour to work with her for Doctors Without Borders as it is such an important organization that impacts so many people’s lives,” says Mother.

Ten percent of the retail sales of the collection will go to international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders. The organization provides medical care in nearly 70 countries to people affected by war, natural disasters, epidemics, malnutrition and exclusion from health care.
