The development of Marc O’Polo’s national and international activities is set to continue with the inauguration of a new store later this April in Belgium, in Brügge, Steenstraat 23, which has a floor space of 220 square meters. This is the second Marc O’Polo store to open in Belgium in two months, after the opening of a store in March in Lüttich, Rue des Dominicains 13, which has a floor space of 173 square meters. In both stores casualwear for women and men plus shoes and accessories will be on sale. Marc O’Polo has extended its presence in Belgium with over seven own and two franchise stores, plus 29 Shop-in-Stores.

The Netherlands are also on the path of expansion. At the beginning of May, the company will open a store in Groningen, Kerkhof 27, with a surface of 176 square meters, which will carry the same product range as in Lüttich and Brügge. Four own and six franchise stores, plus 22 Shop-in-Stores are now present in the Netherlands.
Throughout May, in Russia, Marc O’Polo will open two new stores in St. Petersburg and Jekaterinburg and in August and October two additional stores will open in Moscow and St. Petersburg. By the end of the year the company will have five own and six franchise stores plus four Shop-in-Stores in Russia.
Also in Belarus the presence will be extended with the opening of a second store in Minsk and from August with the opening of two additional own stores and one multibrand store.
Home market Germany is also an important extension market. In February two stores were opened in Münich, one in Pasinger Arkaden, with a floor space of 225 square meters, another in Schwabing, Sendlinger Straße, with a floor space 300 square meters. Kiel also has a new store with a floor space of 200 square meters and in Hamburg, Gerhofstraße, a 500 square meter store has recently been reopened after renovations.
