Marc Lohausen, long-time buyer at German street/fashion online store Frontlineshop, has a new job at Carhartt WIP. The 42-year-old works as head of e-commerce at the Weil am Rhein-based European Carhartt offshoot since November.
Lohausen has been with Frontlineshop for almost 20 years. Being its head of product management between 1997 and 2013, he was promoted the shop’s chief buying officer in May 2013.
After being acquired by French menswear e-commerce platform Menlook.com in June 2015 (and the accompanying decision to cancel its womenswear business), Frontlineshop’s Hamburg-based team has been drastically diminished since many tasks and responsibilities are now centrally navigated from Menlook’s French headquarter.
Both Frontlineshop and Carhartt WIP did not want to comment on the staff news.
