Swedish retail chain Monki has launched an online shop which offers the entire Monki collection and is available for 18 European countries, including Germany, UK, France, Spain, Poland, Ireland or Hungary, for instance.

“It is a stimulating challenge we have taken on, especially seeing that we do not have physical Monki stores in over half of these countries,” Chief Operating Officer Henrik Aaen remarks. The online shopping experience shall be supplemented by inspirational imagery and features from the Monki Magazine, Monki Television and a web radio playing music by selected Monki DJs. Retail prices of the merchandise range from €6 to €130, delivery costs between €6 and €9.

Monki was founded in 2006 and currently operates 53 own stores in eight countries. Whilst the great share of shops is located in Scandinavia, shops are also run in Germany, the UK and Hong Kong. Together with the less playful and more sophisticated concepts Weekday and Cheap Monday, the label is owned by Hennes & Mauritz AB.
