Moncler, the luxury outerwear brand, will open its first US boutique in Aspen, CO on Thanksgiving weekend.

Located at 432 East Hyman Avenue, the 1,100-sq.-foot store will house the full range of Moncler’s men’s and women’s collections, along with an assortment of accessories including shoes, hats, gloves and bags.

“We have chosen Aspen for our first American flagship store as it encompasses the same style and sophistication intrinsic to the Moncler brand, a brand with a history spanning over 50 years, thanks to which it is able to boast a heritage in skiing and mountaineering that is unique of its kind,” said Remo Ruffini, President and Creative Director of Moncler.

The one-floor boutique, designed by Gilles & Boissier, the French architect firm responsible for creating Moncler stores worldwide, is designed in the spirit of a modern chalet with dark stone floors and wood-lined walls with irregular horizontal staves. Black metal hangers and tables in wood, black metal and crystal round out the warm interior.

Currently operating stores in Paris, Milan, Crans sur Sierre, St. Moritz, Megeve, Chamonix and Courmayeur, the brand is slated to open two more stores this fall in Gstaad and Hong Kong.
