At next month’s Moda event, retailers will be offered an extended seminar schedule including the addition of a footwear visual merchandising presentation as well as an all-new team of industry experts offering free business guidance on e-commerce, cash flow management, trend forecasting and the key to successful retailing when the show takes place from 19-21 February at the NEC Birmingham.

The show’s first ever dedicated footwear seminar led by Karl McKeever, founder of retail consultancy Visual Thinking, will be held on Tuesday 21 February. ‘Outstanding Footwear Displays: How to Achieve Profitable Results’ will explore the ways of maximising window and interior footwear displays designed to deliver sales success. Retailers carrying footwear as part of their offering are encouraged to attend this great opportunity to hear the latest retail and visual merchandising concepts and techniques.

Opening the seminar programme on Sunday 19 February will be Warren Knight, social commerce expert and founder of Gloople, the UK’s first "social sharing" e-commerce platform, with an engaging session entitled, ‘How to Drive Traffic to Your Online Store with a Multi-channel Experience’. Knight will navigate retailers through this rapidly developing avenue of retail by sharing his knowledge on online store optimisation and analyses, driving traffic using the latest social commerce tools and how to design a monthly content marketing strategy consumers will find hard to resist.

Moda takes place from 19-21 February at the NEC Birmingham and will play host to the autumn/winter 12 collections covering the five fashion sectors of womenswear, accessories, menswear, footwear and lingerie & swimwear. The UK’s key fashion trade event will also feature daily fashion and lingerie & swimwear catwalk shows as well as a brand new eveningwear show.
