The 15th edition of the Italian textile fair Milano Unica is set to take place in Milan from September 11-13. Among the various guests and personalities, the Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti and Giorgio Squinzi, President of the Italian industry's confederation Confindustria, will be participating.

The upcoming edition will be held at the 62,200 sqm Fieramilanocity in the Portello area and will present fabric collection trends for the fall/winter 2013 season. With numbers slightly lower than last September’s edition, 458 companies will be on display – still more than were present this past February. The winter edition registered 18,000 visitors, over a quarter of which hailed from foreign countries. Approximately 20,000 visitors are expected this month, with a similar ratio in terms of international visitors.
