Manel Adell, CEO Desigual, will leave the company at the 1st of January  in order to start new professional and personal projects. Adell started working at Desigual in 2002 and has accompanied the entrepreneurial project of “passionating growth” ever since. 

Desigual was founded in 1984 by Thomas Meyer. Together with Manel Adell, Meyer has created a successful enterprise with an expected turnover of € 700 million by 2012. Desigual is distributed in 275 monobrand stores, 7000 multi brand stores and 1800 shop-in-shops in over 70 countries.

One of the most significant project of the future is the opening of a new 20.000 sqm logistic pole near Barcelona that will host about 1000 people.

At the end of 2011 also Christian Meyer, brother of the founder Thomas and involved in the Retail and Expansion division of the company, had left Desigual due to disagreements with his brother.
