In time for the world AIDS day on December 1, Maison Martin Margiela launches its second edition of the charity AIDS t-shirt with French print. Every season, since the 1994 fall/winter collection, Belgium-based fashion brand Maison Martin Margiela has produced the charity t-shirt in different colors with contrasted text every season and bears the text marked below in English.

“There is more action to be done to fight AIDS than to wear this t-shirt but it’s a good start”.
Next to the English version, the designer brand decided to create a yearly edition in different languages.
This time it says: “Il y a plus a faire pour cambattre le sida que de porter ce t-shirt mais c’est un bon debut.“

A percentage of the sales is donated to AIDES, a French non-governmental organization dedicated to fight the HIV and hepatitis virus. Over the last years 180.000 t-shirts have been sold and raised more than €750.000.

The limited second edition in French will be available in all Maison Martin Margiela stores and online from December 1.
