The Dockers brand, the 27-year-old division of Levi Strauss and Co. known for its khakis, will soon have a new head of marketing. It has announced that Adrienne Lofton Shaw, who formerly served as senior marketing director at Under Armour, will be its new vice president and chief marketing officer as of April 15.

Lofton Shaw will oversee and create the San Francisco-based brand’s strategy and global marketing. She has also worked in marketing at Target, General Motors and Gap. She replaces Dockers chief marketing officer Jen Sey, who switched over to senior vice president of e-commerce for Levi Strauss & Co.

“Adrienne is a leading marketer with proven success at understanding and engaging consumers around the world,” said Seth Ellison, Dockers’ president, in the formal announcement of her hiring. “We believe she has the passion, intellect and unique experience necessary to help connect the Dockers brand with consumers in a meaningful way to drive our business forward.”
