Emporio Armani has introduced its new Emporio Armani Remix collection in collaboration with Antonia, the high-fashion men’s section at Excelsior Milano, during a side event at Milan Fashion Week on Sunday.
The sportive men’s capsule collection is dedicated to the new urban generation that sees its character reflected in music – hence also the launch at the prestigious Milan department store was accompanied by a live performance from the duo Mind Against.
The capsule’s design is kept simple and functional which also reflects in the fabrics of the items. The sweatshirts come in compact cotton with neoprene look, jackets and shorts are made of parachute nylon and cotton jersey as well as technical cotton in T-Shirts and leggings.
Its color range is defined by urban motives and includes asphalt grey, dark and electric blue and white with a little bit of red and yellow.
Also, the classic Emporio Armani logo has been given a new, more graphical look which is applied to the clothing in decorative details such as reflective prints.
Signature pieces of the collection are the mainly functional accessories which include sunglasses, a delivery and a helmet case backpack, sneakers with reflective details and headphones. To round off the collection and their vision of low environmental impact in urban surroundings, Armani has even worked on a self-recharging city bike in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Milan.
The Emporio Armani Remix collection is available exclusively via Excelsior Milan (in-store and online) and will hit selected Emporio Armani stores in September.
