For s/s 2017, Diesel has launched Diesel X, a collection inspired by different moods such as urban, biker styles and performance sportswear, mixing with the brand’s own spirit from today’s work out culture and fast urban lifestyle.

“Today there’s a need for a modern and active wardrobe, and for an armour to be worn in the city,” commented Nicola Formichetti, artistic director, Diesel. “I wanted to take a biker jacket and pants – two strong elements of Diesel’s DNA – and remix them in technical fabrics, with a nod to denim.”

The new men’s and women’s fashion collection offers monochrome looks in four graphic theme variants including a splatter print inspired by motocross riders and a trompe l’oeilindigo denim print with indigo coated zips. Functional looks and ergonomic silhouettes characterize the collection completed by built-in dust masks and reflective paneling.

Materials employed include wind- and rainproof nylon outerwear with UV protection properties. Four-way stretch t-shirts have antibacterial and enhanced moisture wicking properties and are completed by biker pants, shorts and leggings.
