In an attempt to strengthen its international presence, Liu Jo has just announced its entrance into the German market with new distribution, points of sale and mono-brand stores. The Italian brand was founded in 1990 by the Marchi brothers and despite difficulties in the financial climate has enjoyed constant growth over the years. In 2011 alone the company reported a 245 million Euro turnover.

Liu Jo has already opened 15 mono-brands this year and plans to open more in the second half of 2012 with a strong focus on the most prestigious locations of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Two mono-brand stores are already in the works and set to open in Munich and Düsseldorf in 2013 while the number of corner and multi-brand shops in other major cities are poised to increase as well.
