Lee Cooper has entered the fragrance business. Aiming to broaden its lifestyle product offering, the UK denim brand granted an exclusive license to the fragrance specialist Jacques Bogart this month.

The first fragrance will be RDLC, which stands for Red Diamond Lee Cooper and corresponds to the new British rock ’n’ roll-inspired and heritage collection, RDLC. The fragrance is scheduled for a trade launch in Cannes in Oct. 2009 and will be launched in stores in early 2010. RDLC will be available for both men and women and will be followed by Originals later in the year.

The company is convinced that it has chosen the right partner in Jacques Bogart to enhance and protect the brand’s image. Going forward, the Jacques Bogart group will be responsible for designing, developing and distributing the signature fragrance.
