For the Fall/Winter 2009 season Lacoste Creative Director Christophe Lemaire wanted a fresh, fun attitude for the Lacoste Red! line, which is aimed at a younger, urban consumer.

For this he tapped the Paris-based art collective Andrea Crews to create an exclusive capsule collection of T-shirts to complement the main collection. As a result, the collaboration will carry five different pieces, including T-shirts for men and women, a sweatshirt for women, and separate T-Shirts for boys and girls. Prices ranges from €40 for the kids’ shirts up to €115 for the women's sweatshirt. The collection will be sold worldwide starting next fall.

Andrew Crews explains, “We always loved Lacoste, the most international French sporty chic brand. The croco itself inspired us. We just made him with a more funky style and attitude; more party croco than classy croco.”

Andrea Crews is a brand and multidisciplinary collective of international artists working mainly with and around fashion. For 10 years, Andrea Crews has been hijacking clothing, collaborating with charities (by recycling second-hand clothes) and brands (by transforming basics).
