Labelux Group, the luxury goods organization based in Vienna, and Zagliani, the Milanese leather accessories brand, have announced a long-term partnership.

“Zagliani is the fourth brand in our luxury portfolio, which already encompasses Bally, the Swiss shoes and leather goods house, as well as majority stakes in Solange Azagury-Partridge, the London-based jeweler, and fashion designer Derek Lam,” Bernd Hauptkorn, CEO of Labelux, said. “It’s the desire for exploration that unites Zagliani and Labelux with the aim of consolidating our common credo: to design a new timeless contemporary classics and become a strong point of reference for true luxury.”

Zagliani is a historic brand that was founded in 1947 by Bruna Zagliani, the heir of a family business rooted in the craftsmanship of precious skins, particularly crocodile.

Today Zagliani bags are available today in 33 countries through high-end multibrand retailers, including an inaugural shop-in-shop in London’s Harvey Nichols. Through its partnership with Labelux, Zagliani, however, will commence direct distribution of its products – first through its own showroom in Milan and secondly through flagship boutiques.
