Karl Lagerfeld has opened its first two Chinese stores at Beijing Charter Shopping Centre and in Shanghai at the Jing An Kerry Centre shortly after launching its new concept stores in Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin earlier this year.

Stepping into the Asian market, the two new stores blend elements of edgy modern and classic design, with shiny and matt surfaces, while playing with iconic compositions inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s vision. Black and White walls, large mirrors and walls of light form the backdrop for the distinctive product presentation. The two stores display the complete range of ready-to-wear lines and accessories such as bags, leather goods, shoes, sunglasses, watches and other iconic and limited edition items.

The Beijing Karl Lagerfeld store, situated in the city’s new retail attraction, the Charter Shopping Centre, embraces a total selling area of 222sqm and is positioned as the first flagship store in China.

In Shanghai the store is situated in the city’s new fashion landmark Jing An Kerry Centre over a space of 104sqm.

iPad minis are positioned throughout the stores to enable customers to discover Karl Lagerfeld’s universe by browsing the brands various collections, news, videos and even to leave notes for the brand and designer.
