French jeans specialist Kaporal5 has opened his first flagship in Paris. The brand from Marseille took its time to find the right place in the capital. With a corner shop on the streets Rue Rambuteau and Boulevard Sebastopol, Kaporal5 is now situated close to its showroom and on a highly frequented shopping street between shopping center and metro station Les Halles and famous museum Centre Pompidou. The 140 square meter flagship offers menswear, womenswear, the accessory lines and the collection Kaporal Premium, former named Karporar. The portfolio does not include the kids collection, because so far this segment is carried by multibrand stores only. The store design which includes a lot of furniture from fleamarkets was carried out by the Metropole Concept agency from Paris.

Karporal5 is distributed at 1,000 points-of-sale worldwide, 18 self-operated and 6 franchise stores. During the next year, another seven self-operated as well as four franchise stores are said to be added with the first store to open in Dubai.

In addition, there are also changes ahead regarding advertisement. For the first time ever, Kaporal5 has collaborated with a celebrity for an advertisment campaign. For the winter season 2010/11 and next summer season Chelsea football star Didier Drogba will be the brand's testimonial.
