As part of its expansion efforts, Kjus skiwear has appointed David Lever to the post of Director of Sales & Marketing, North America at Kjus USA. Lever, 48, will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities in the US and Canada, and will report directly to Daniel Schaffo, Sales & Marketing Manager of LK International AG. Prior to Kjus, Lever, a former mountain bike professional and keen sportsman, was responsible for the development of the brand Napapijri at VF Outdoor, Inc. in San Leandro, California; together with Kurt Widen (Commercial Director), they ran the US branch of the Swiss company. Butch Widen, Didi Serena and Reto Holzmann continue to be part of the managing board of Kjus’s US subsidiary. The core task of Lever’s new position is to successfully develop the winter business, particularly the lifestyle collection of Kjus, Kjus Spirit, and the launch of the new Kjus performance lifestyle collection for S/S 11.
