Jack Wolfskin GmbH, one of the most successful outdoor equipment manufacturers in the world, has annouced that it will soon open a 11 new stores in Europe and six more in Japan.
The new shops will range in size from 100 to 150 sq. meters.
At present, there are 40 Jack Wolfskin stores in Germany, four in Switzerland, one in Belgium, one in Austria and 17 in Japan.
The brand is represented in all the major markets in Europe by agents or branded retail outlets. In Japan, Jack Wolfskin is represented by licencees.
The company sells to 1,100 European retailers in Europe and boasts a turnover of 80 million euro. In 2002, the company’s turnover was 72.5 million.
