Britain’s legendary Triumph bike is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and for the occasion is joining with the equally iconic Belstaff brand (

Belstaff, which was founded in England in 1924, is producing a bespoke Bonneville motorbike – the classic Triumph model preferred by screen idols Steve McQueen, James Dean and Marlon Brando no less – and incorporating the black and gold color scheme that is synonymous with the Belstaff brand. As well, Belstaff is creating a limited edition biker style jacket to mark the anniversary.

“Being at the cutting edge of design for motorcycle fashion is, it’s a privaledge to be asked to produce a special anniversary Bonneville,” said Michele Malenotti, designer for Belstaff.

The Bonneville will be on display in Belstaff’s flagship stores in London’s Conduit Street, as well as Rome and Milan and available for purchase at selected stores worldwide later this year.
