UK fashion trade show organizer ITE Moda Ltd and menswear show Jacket Required have announced details of their new partnership for the future development of the London-based fair, whose third edition took place at Victoria House, Bloomsbury from July 13-14.

ITE Moda has acquired 100% of the Jacket Required event from founders Mark Batista and Craig Ford, the menswear agents who launched the show in August 2011. Retaining their old roles, Batista and Ford will continue to steer the growth and development of Jacket Required in future seasons, overseeing the show’s hand-picked line-up of contemporary menswear, footwear and accessories collections and working with ITE Moda on the event’s potential launch into new international markets.

Colette Tebbutt, ITE Moda managing director, says that the acquisition of Jacket Required falls in line with the company’s strategy of identifying key growth opportunities within the fashion sector. August 2011 saw ITE Moda acquire a share in London-based premium womenswear show Scoop, while this August will see the launch of Flip at the NEC, a new national event for active footwear, sport and surf apparel.
