Messe München International has announced that the next edition of the sports business trade show ISPO Beijing 2015 will take place one month earlier than planned: from 28 until 31st of January. Among the reasons, the organizers claim that the current dates overlap with the Chinese New Year’s celebrations, which last for 15 days starting on the 19th of February. Also, the option of moving the trade event behind the New Year’s celebrations was not considered due to the order cycles in the sports industry.

"Postponements in the fair landscape provide the organizers with a great challenge: to meet the expectations of industry participants with the international trade show calendar. For this reason, we have early sought a dialogue with our customers and together set the best possible time taking into account all aspects." stated Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and CEO of Messe München International.

ISPO Beijing will run shortly after the American show Outdoor Retailer and for the first time, prior to the ISPO Munich, which is taking place at the Munich fairgrounds from 5th to 8th of February.

The ISPO shows are organized by Messe München International in order to offer events and all year round services for the global sports industries.
