The second Isko Washing Seminar of the season took place on July 19 and 20 in Northern Italy’s Castelfranco Veneto. Top European and South African denim designers met at Isko’s Creative Room design and research center, partner of jeanswear, sportswear and streetwear brands. The initiative was meant to show insiders the varied offer of stretch Isko fabrics and the brand’s most innovative washes and treatments. The first seminar took place a few weeks earlier at the company's Iskoteca research center in San Benedetto del Tronto and featured a selection of Italian denim designers.

The event played host to conferences and workshops involving top market players such as chemical substance manufacturer Clariant, industrial washing and treatment machine manufacturer Tonello Lab, and Northern Italian laundry specialist Everest. Participants also visited the production sites of both Tonello Lab and Everest. While visiting Everest, all participants were able to personally treat, wash, age and finish a new pair of jeans according to the latest fashion trends. Participating brands included Kaporal, Sissy Boy, Ronald Sassoon, Street One, Hugo Boss, Mac, Strellson, Scotch&Soda, Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, Topshop and Tom Tailor.

Isko’s Marketing Director Marco Lucietti commented, “Every time the top denim segment insiders meet and discuss how to find new solutions, we reach a new goal and take a step towards innovation. Furthermore, when the professionals involved are so varied and international, the initiative’s results become even more revolutionary and positive for the whole market.”
