The British fashion label Hunter has selected the Regent Street in London to open its very first flagship store worldwide next autumn. With a surface of about 500 square meters, Hunter’s retail space will increase the portfolio of internationally renowned retailers who have settled on Regent Street. James Seuss, CEO of Hunter, in regards to the upcoming opening: "With the continuous expansion of our business, the opening of the London flagship store is a key milestone for the development of our brand. The decision to locate our first retail space at the Regent Street corresponds to our heritage as a British brand. This will create, together with our global e-commerce site, a comprehensive world in which we can address our customers directly and convey the spirit of the brand Hunter. "

Hunter was founded in 1856, originally known as the North British Rubber Company. Hunter has offices in London, Edinburgh and New York and is the holder of two royal documents for court supplier. In January 2012, the majority of the company’s shares were acquired by Searchlight Capital Partners L.P., a private investment firm that operates in Europe and North America. As recently announced, Hunter has two new sub-brands: Hunter Original, which was launched at the London Fashion Week in February, and Hunter Field, a performance line, which will be introduced to the market by the end of 2014.
