During Fashion Week in Paris, the South Korean enterprise Handsome Corporation opened the new multi-brand concept store Tom Greyhound in the shopping district Haut Marais. The shop, open since 1st of March 2014, is situated in the Rue Saintonge, a street full of cool denim and young designer brands. On 360 square meters, Tom Greyhound offers an assortment of emerging and established brands like: Damir Doma, McQ, JW Anderson, System Thakoon, Chistopher Kane, MM10, Markus Lupfer, Sacai or Ground Zero.
The idea behind the concept store is to offer a very selective choice of French and international labels, which enables the consumer to „find the right product at the right moment“. Besides fashion, the boutique also offers a wide range of accessories from brands like A.F.Vandevorst, Delfina Delettrez, Linda Farrow, Puma McQ, Philippe Audibert or Suigeneric.
The architects, Pierre Beucler and Christophe Poggioli, who are responsible for the store design, combine big and very intimate spaces, mixing classical and modern styles with a black wooden floor and minimalistic hat stands.
The Handsome Corporation, founded in 1987, is specialized in fashion retail business and the Korean leader in the women’s ready-to-wear segment. The enterprise has established an affiliate in France in 2013, Handsome Paris, directed by David Kang. As an expert in luxury retail between South-Korea and France, David Kang will manage the shop Tom Greyhound. The project is supported by the Hunday Departement Store Group.
