Swedish company H&M Group has announced that they increased their total sales including VAT this past July by 11% compared to July of last year. The sales development in stores, on the Internet and through the catalogue, however, showed a 2% decrease compared to the increase of total sales. 

As of now, the H&M Group runs 2,603 stores in 44 markets (including franchise markets), 297 more than in July 2011.
Besides H&M, the Group also includes the brands H&M Home, COS, Monki, Weekday and Cheap Monday and employs more than 94,000 people.
