The Italian sportswear brand Harmont & Blaine has opened its new flagship store at Milan’s Corso Matteotti 5. The new store offers men's, women's and children's apparel as well as footwear and accessories across over 500 sqm and three floors in the golden triangle of the city’s shopping area. The label’s CEO Domenico Menniti commented, “With this new flagship we are opening an important window on the world while considering Milan as the capital of the international fashion scene.”

Confirming the company's intention to center their international expansion activities in Milan, Harmont & Blaine will also open an over-1000-sqm showroom on via Tortona 37. The company has already opened 49 mono-brand boutiques in Italy and 50 worldwide in cities including Casablanca, Macao, New York, Hong Kong, Santa Fe, Villahermosa (Mexico), Malta, and at the Dubai Mall of Emirates. The brand most recently inaugurated a mono-brand store in Palermo and has future openings set for Ekaterinenburg, Rostov on Don, Krasnodar and Panama. An H&B junior boutique will also open in Naples on September 15.

Harmont & Blaine closed the first semester of 2012 with € 28.4 million (10% more than than the same period in 2011) and expects to close 2012 with about €67 million in sales.
