On December 15, Gas Jeans has opened its fourth exclusive brand outlet in India. The new 90-sqm-store can be found at Ferozepur Road in Ludhiana, the city’s shopping mekka. The shop follows an “Essensual” concept that matches Ludhiana’s both modern and traditional approach as one of the most charming and dynamic destinations for tourists and shoppers.

The opening of the store is part of Gas’ market development strategy in India. The denim label is planning to open another Indian store in Pune around Christmas. Within the next three years, the company aims to open twelve more retail stores.

In addition to its stand-alone shops, the Italy-based brand is also available at Indian Shoppers Stop department stores in, amongst others, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Patiala, Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Jammu.

Claudio Grotto, Founder and Chairman of Gas, said “The dynamic fashion sense of the Indian consumer who has a typical East meets West outlook … is an unmissable opportunity for a lifestyle brand like Gas.”
