Effective November 1, André Hennigers will take over the position of Garcia’s Country Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He succeeds Robert Theijssen, who leaves the denim brand after seven years at his own wish.

In his new job, Hennigers will not only be leading the management team for Germany, Austria and Switzerland but also become part of Garcia’s Advisory Board in the company’s global headoffice in Rotterdam, NL. The 38-year-old will report directly to the group’s CEO Louk van de Sanden.
Hennigers on his vision: "I see Garcia as a real gem in the Denim Casual segment. The re-postitioning was an important step, which I want to consequently follow further. Garcia still has enormous potential in the market."

After starting his career at Esprit, André Hennigers changed to Nike in 2010. In his latest position at Nike AGS, Hennigers accounted for the brand’s German department stores as Strategic Account Manager.
