By the end of this coming November, the popular US brand Gap will open its first Italian store in Milan’s city centre, along Corso Vittorio Emanuele. The new store will offer the Gap, GapKids, GapBody and GapMaternity brands on a sales floor of 2,350sqm. Next door to Gap, in addition a Banana Republic store will open in December. Gap’s sister brand will occupy 1,600 sq.meters on two floors.

As an anticipation of the launch of the brand in Italy, Gap has just signed two exclusive agreements: the first one is a special Gap X Corso Como 10 capsule collection of t-shirts and shopping bags. The special edition will be offered starting Sep. 25 by Corso Como 10, within Milan Fashion Week. A second agreement was signed with Valentino Maison’s Creative Directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli. The launch of the special collection will kick off in November in the Milan newly opened store and will also be available in selected stores like Colette, Paris, the Gap London store on Dover Market Street and London’s Gap flagship store.
