French denim brand Freeman T.Porter opened its first German store today in Saarbrücken. The 200 sqm shop is located in one of the city’s top neighbourhoods, in Bahnhofstraße 10, and hosts the brand’s complete collection including menswear, womenswear and accessories.

In terms of store design, Freeman T.Porter has stuck to its corporate identity, employing their existing interior concept, which was developed by French architects 3AConcept, using elements such as rustic wood and raw steel.

Freeman T.Porter currently runs eight own stores and one outlet store in France (in Paris, Lille, Bordeaux, amongst others). In Germany, the brand is presently available at more than 300 Points of Sale. The Saarbrücken shop marks the kick-off for further own retail stores, and over the course of this spring, the company plan to open two more mono-brand stores in Munich and Berlin.

“We regard this as a first logical step to transport the brand from France to Germany”, explained Hendrik Schimmel, Country Manager Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
