Last night, Diesel presented its fall/winter 2014-15 collection in Venice. It is the first collection that was created under the artistic direction of renowned stylist Nicola Formichetti who joined Diesel one year ago.

The collection builds up on three Diesel classics: leather, denim and military/utility influences. These three topics also structured the running order of the event.
“This collection is a foundational collection. We are re-looking at our iconic pieces and the themes and
spirit of Diesel; looking at what we essentially are and what we stand for, and then looking at where we are going to”, said Nicola Formichetti, Artistic Director of Diesel.

The fashion show was interspersed with a film by photographer Nick Knight, dancing performances and an appearance by singer Brooke Candy. There was an extensive framework program to cover the show digitally including several “guest tweeters” and on-site Twitter mirrors capturing the guests’ reception of the show in real time.
