Fenix Outdoor AB has appointed Alex Koska, CEO of its affiliate Fjällräven, as vice president of global sales. In this newly created position, Koska will serve across a range of brands including Hanwag, Primus, Brunton and Tierra, focusing on the coordination of global sales strategies and in-house multi-brand sites in Italy, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. The aim is to efficiently benefit from the synergies within the group.
Norwegian John-Are Lindstad, who previously worked with Fenix Outdoors in Norway, will take over the role as sales manager for Fjällräven International. This change in management will also affect local markets; in Germany, procuration-holding Thomas Gröger has taken over the main responsibilities of local management.
Koska commented, “Due to our tremendous growth and the increasing complexity of our group, creating the position of vice president of global sales is a logical step. This will enable us to serve our customers faster and to take on the growing challenges in the industry over the long haul.”
