Fashion group Fenix Outdoor AB appointed Aiko Bode as its new Chief Sustainability Officer. 47-year-old Bode joins the Swedish group that includes brands such as Fjällräven, Hanwag, Brunton and Primus. In this newly created position, Bode will be responsible for sustainability, corporate social responsibility and compliance across the entire group.
Martin Nordin, CEO of Fenix Outdoor, said, “Aiko Bode brings many years of experience in creating sustainability from within. Our aspiration is not only to collect certifications but also to set our company on solid, sustainable ground across the entire value-chain.“
Bode is a German scientist and historian. Most recently, Bode held a similar role with TÜV Rheinland.
