Woolrich Europe continues with its retail expansion and opens a new store in the center of Courmayeur with more to follow in other European mountain areas. The new location is located in the heart of Via Roma in the very center of the shopping area. On a total space of 60 square meters, the boutique is presented with an ample window front. The store is light, airy and yet at the same time sophisticated in appearance, recalling the outdoor origins of Woolrich. The concept of the store and its successive variations have been created by the international architectural studio Wonderwall of Tokyo, directed by Masamichi Katayama.

The store furnishings should show a fusion between the historical roots of the brand and contemporary style. The prints, photographs, modern materials and finishings combine to underline the history of a brand born in 1830 that has always managed to be contemporary without ever forgetting its past.

This is the fourth Woolrich Store in Italy, following those in Forte Dei Marmi, Cortina D’Ampezzo and Brescia, and will be shortly followed by an opening in Trento. Further retail stores are projected for opening in various international capital cities in the second half of 2016.

The business plan leading up to 2020 foresees strong expansion, through the opening of retail points in Italy, Europe, the USA, Canada and Japan, with the objective of arriving at more than 75 Woolrich Stores globally.
