One day after it was officially acquired and reprivatized by being taken off the NASDAQ stock market by new owner TowerBrook Capital Partners L.P. in a deal worth approximately $824 million, California-based premium denim/lifestyle brand True Religion has announced changes to its management team. They take place immediately.

The brand has named David Conn, formerly the president of retail licensed brands at VF Corp and executive vice president of the Iconix Brand Group, as its new CEO. He replaces Lynne Koplin, who served as interim CEO after the departure of brand founder Jeffrey Lubell from that role in March 2013.

Koplin will now serve as chief merchandising officer.

It was also announced that Eric Bauer is replacing Pete Collins, who is retiring this month, as CFO. Bauer previously worked at The Children’s Place and Gap in key executive roles.

“I’ve admired True Religion for a long time and I’m thrilled to join such an exceptional team, “ said Conn in a statement. “I feel fortunate to have Lynne, Eric and TowerBrook as partners as we begin this new chapter for the company. I look forward to working with them and with the talented employees of True Religion to make a great company even stronger.”
