Earnest Sewn (earnestsewn.com), New York’s trailblazer in denim designs, is speeding headlong into its retail expansion with the announcement today of a new concept / lifestyle flagship store in Los Angeles.

Following the launch late last year of the brand’s second Manhattan store and recently released plans for another in Malibu, California, this LA location is scheduled to open its doors in June this year on Beverly Blvd. The store will offer the complete range of Earnest Sewn denim for men and women, a limited edition range of custom made jeans, as well as the ‘AEC&S’, ‘Earnest AM I’ and ‘Lit’l Earnie’ collections.

Also on sale will be New York brands MOSCOT Eyewear and Eyecare Since 1915, House of Waris Jewelry, Malin + Goetz Skincare and Phaidon limited edition books, as well as brands with historical reference such as Woolwrich Blankets, Santa Maria Novella fragrances and skin care and Filson luggage, as well as products that exemplify quality craftsmanship and fit with the Earnest Sewn aesthetic, including Barbour, Nantucket Knot Works accessories, Bell & Ross aeronautic watches, and Kobold expedition watches.

In an additional quirk – and shopping incentive – the store comes complete with an 800 square foot “Babycakes NYC” bakery – an addition courtesy of the “Babycakes NYC” eatery of New York’s Lower East Side, which will be making its West Coast debut with its certified kosher, parve and vegan treats. There will be an outdoor patio space where customers can have lunch as well as their yummy baked goods.

This latest scheduled store opening, with its innovative in-store initiatives represents the company’s plans for store expansion in key cities in America and beyond. Founder/designer Scott Morrison, who has spearheaded the brand into something of a denim powerhouse in a time where most are barely treading water, is intending to carry out his vision of designing unique one-of-a-kind retail concepts at each location, undoubtedly continuing to be a roaring success across the globe.
