Next Friday, Italian denim, apparel and footwear manufacturer Diesel is going to open its first pop-up store in Williamsburg (101 Bedford Avenue), an area in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. The retail space counts a surface of 1,000 square-feet and will remain open until December, featuring the products of Nicola Formichetti’s first collection as Diesel’s artistic director showcasing exclusive denim and leather items all designed by himself. The assortment will be rounded up by unique pieces which were only presented at the Diesel fashion show in Venice, among with children products designed specifically for the pop-up and third party products like Brooklyn Candle Studio candles, Inez & Vinoodh t-shirts, and Deborah Lippmann nail polish.

Designed by Mark Gage of Mark Foster Gage Architects, the space will merge retail, media and art through a mirrored encasement reflecting images from digital screens installed on the ceiling and a Polaroid wall art-directed by Formichetti.
