Dieter Holzer has left his position as CEO of the Tom Tailor Holding AG for personal reasons and with immediate effect. As a temporary solution for the sudden void at the helm of the company, chief operating officer (COO) Dr. Heiko Schäfer takes over as chief executive on demand of the board of directors. Schäfer, who joined the ranks in December 2015 as COO, will continue the implementation of the group’s cost-cutting program Core together with chief financial officer Thomas Dressendörfer.

Uwe Schröder, chairman of the supervisory board will join the company’s board of directors now for a period of maximum one year. He will be responsible for topics surrounding product, sales and collections temporarily. Schröder’s position in the supervisory board will be given to Jerome Griffith, a member of the board of trustees and former president and CEO at Tumi Inc.
The supervisory board will soon begin a selection process for the appointment of a new CEO, which is expected to be completed until the next general annual meeting of the company in spring 2017.
