Earlier this year DKNY announced that model Cara Delevingne will be collaborating with the brand for a capsule collection. Following, on 15 October, 2014, the New York based label launches the “Cara Delevingne for DKNY” capsule collection worldwide. The collection consists of 15 pieces including essentials like crop and tank tops, t-shirts, a pantsuit as well as, leather crop bomber jackets and a parka.

All items are sportswear inspired, reflecting Cara Delevingne’s personal style, and feature some of her signature styling pieces such as beanies or a jumpsuit.

“To me, DKNY captured the essence of New York and set trends for young people everywhere. (…) For Donna to trust my creative vision and give me freedom to design pieces I love is such a privilege”, says Cara on the collaboration.
For the campaign, Cara put out an open model call on Instagram, where users could submit their selfies under the hashtag #CaraWantsYou. The finalists are now featured in the official campaign pictures that will soon be presented on billboards worldwide.


The complete collection will be available online at DKNY.com, as well as in selected stores including Shopbop and Net-a-porter. German retailers Apropos, Karstadt and Style Bop will also be selling the capsule collection.
