Cheap Monday strengthen their international presence by opening two new stores in China, in Beijing and Shenyang, establishing a sales organization in the UK, and opening a new online store.

The new Cheap Monday stores in China will open at the end of 2013 and at the start of spring 2014. Both will be located in the Joy City shopping centre.

"We are seeing a substantial and growing interest in Cheap Monday in China, especially after our fashion show at Shanghai Fashion Week last year. The Chinese market is strategically important for us and there is fantastic growth potential, yet we are humble to the challenges of entering one of the world's most competitive markets," says Håkan Ström, COO at Cheap Monday.

At the end of 2013 Cheap Monday will open its own online store, which will deliver the whole range to 18 countries.

"One of the most important reasons for opening our own online store is that we continuously receive questions from our many friends on Facebook, and through other social media-channels, asking where specific Cheap Monday products can be found. With our own online store, the entire Cheap Monday range will be made available." says Håkan Ström, COO, Cheap Monday.

In addition to its own online store and the stores in Beijing and Shenyang, Cheap Monday is setting up its own sales organisation in the UK. Currently Cheap Monday is represented in more than 35 countries through about 2 000 retailers.
