After the collaboration with renowned US photographer Terry Richardson for their last fall/winter imagery, CIFF has released a new campaign for the upcoming spring/summer 2015 edition of the show, this time including two young Danish actors.
The campaign ”Sarah & Gustav for CIFF” stars Sarah-Sofie Boussnina (“The Absent One”) and Gustav Giese (“Northwest”) styled in brands such as Rodebjer, Converse or Bibi Chemnitz. It was shot in Los Angeles and consists of five different adverts and a short film
Kristian W. Andersen, CIFF’s design and fashion director, said: "In recent years Copenhagen and Denmark have made its mark internationally with drama series such as "Borgen" and "The Killing", and with film directors such as Susanne Bier, Lars Von Trier and Nicolas Winding Refn. Meanwhile, more and more people are opening their eyes to Copenhagen's ability to create a breeding ground for fashion brands with an international vision. We want to establish a synergy between the two positive cultural impacts that Copenhagen has created.”

On August 6, the Designers Nest Show & Award will take place once again – marking the 10-year / 20-seasons anniversary of Vision’s design talent competition.  On this occasion, Vision has slightly refined the concept of the award. “We are extending the competition process and thus the exposure of the show – everything finalizing in a show case presenting fewer contestants than usual - but all carefully selected emerging talents”, said Trine Fruergaard, head of communications at Vision. In the new pre-curating process, five out of 27 Nordic design students will be selected to showcase their pieces in the final show on August 6. The Jury is made up of five professionals from the fashion industry: Silas Adler, creative director of Soulland and Charlotte Eskildsen, creative director of Designers Remix as well as Anne Sofie Madsen, Barbara í Gongini and Astrid Andersen, each designers and founders of their eponymous fashion labels.
