As we reported earlier this year, Chinese trade show CHIC (China International Fashion Fair) moved to the new fair grounds of the ‘National Exhibition and Convention Center’ (NECC) in Shanghai. Now CHIC announced the segmentation for next year’s edition.

For four segments, brands have already been announced:

In Signature – Distinguished Chinese fashion brands (Eachway, JNBY, Aimer etc.)
Prestige – Menswear and tailored garments (Red Collar, Upper, Venetia, Winarte etc.)
Heritage – Leather, fur and outdoor (Copenhagen Fur etc.)
Impulses – Young designers from China and other nations (Su Seam, D’nim by Wen Chen, Recluse etc.)

The fairs other segments are Urban View (casual and sportswear), New Look (womenswear), Secret Stars (fashion accessories), Kid’s Paradise (kids fashion), Future Link (technology systems) and Fashion Journey (international group contributions and brands).

A high amount of European brands will exhibit at the trade show, amongst them French brands Nathalie Chaize, Fuego Women and Masha Keja. Germany will again show its brands in the MADE IN GERMANY pavilion presenting brands like Gerry Weber, Annette Görtz, Werner Christ Leather, Roeckl since 1839 and Petra Dieler.
