Several changes to the second edition of Who’s Next and Premiere Classe in Dubai have been announced.

To fit into the international fashion calendar, the trade show for the contemporary segment in the Middle East will take place Oct. 19-21, 2010 right after Paris Fashion Week and closer to Dubai Fashion Week, positioning itself as the last event of the S/S 11 season.

The show also will take place at a new venue, the prestigious Jumeirah Madinat Resort, with a chic and elegant aesthetic to draw in more than 200 expected exhibitors.

Show organizer WSN Developpement, as well, is creating a network of agents from Japan, Brazil, Spain, Korea and China to enhance business with the Middle East.

Finally, this year’s upcoming show will see the debut of several new events, including debates, contests and exhibitions. Organizers will also open up the last day of the show to the public so exhibitors can test the impact of their collections on local consumers.

The first edition of Who’s Next and Premiere Classe in Dubai took place from Oct. 11-13, 2009 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Closing the S/S 10 sales season, the trade show welcomed 1,200 buyers and 205 brands from 16 countries.
